KING OF CHIMERAS

THE KING OF CHIMERAS SAID
Good riddance to the sages
-For I myself am a Kingmera-
He said on
At his reflect on glass,
Silver, water and eyes in awe
Not to mention his favourite:
Gilded gold

-I own all-viewing fountains,
Time-trekking doors,
Plus the gap that isolates
The living ones
From the ones that've gone
Fortune and justice
Shall fall upon
The docile one
Do not hesitate, for
Trustworthy are my stunts-

-If you came and told the coven words
This all you'd have and more-

-Now look around and lay suspicion
On he who waits on
Reason, books and visions
That talk of lame freedom
Bring them into my purge dungeons
And y'all see the rise of
An orb in endless blossom-

A hasty crowd thanks and goes
After fiend sages that fight and hold
The truly age from coming over
Raging hands hatchet lairs to shreds
Burn, plunder and curse
Each lifeless corpse
Hurled onto fire rows
And so the crown-commanded beholds
The thread come to dust

Blood-tainted faces alighted by a new thirst
Get ready to claim reward in exchange
Sovereign has the mob approach
And pleased and sufficed
Witnesses the hidious far gone
-Only one step forth!
Line up and lock
Each limb in each link
Along the chain of well-earned fate!
Now bow! Bend down and work hands to naught!
Under wild rain and scorching sun!
Upon King's lands and wishes told
Just little pay ahead for the acquired
Goods await!-

The mob, tantalised by visions
Of yearned-for goods,
Loudly sobs and gorges cry of bitter drops
Stinging regret pierces their backs
Just as solar arrows dart skin and land
